Version Description: Firmware updates will ensure that new firmware versions remain compatible with old firmware versions and are gradually optimized. There will be no compatibility issues between new and old versions. Therefore, with every new firmware release, we recommend users directly adopt the latest firmware version. Meanwhile, the latest firmware version will also be used in production.

• New Features in the Communication Connection Interface

  • New: Added “Firmware Version” dropdown box in the communication connection interface.

    Compared to older versions, the new CAN_Update_Tool_Ver2.0.0.0_7 (Figure 1) allows users to manually select the target firmware version for upgrades. There is no need to download a separate upgrade tool for each version. This helps users quickly locate and upgrade to the desired version.
  • New: Added “Update Log” button in the communication connection interface.

    Clicking the “Update Log” button in the new CAN_Update_Tool_Ver2.0.0.0_7 (Figure 2) opens a window displaying the update logs of each firmware version. This enables users to quickly review the detailed changes of each firmware update.

• Modifications in the Firmware Interface

  • Modified software version number definition.
    To reflect the features of the new firmware upgrade tool, an additional digit is appended to the original software version number. This digit represents the number of firmware versions supported by the current software, separated by an underscore (“_”). For example, this new version is: CAN_Update_Tool_Ver2.0.0.0_7.
  • Modified the allowable range for CAN ID modification.
    Firmware updates will be released in stages. Starting from the date of this announcement, the new version will be available for download. The above information is a preview; for the final official version, please refer to the download page on the official website.
